Play the whole progression as one continuous harmonic movement. Hear the chromatic rise from G to G# and A, and feel how D9 creates the pull back toward G.

Start slowly and keep the pulse steady. Do not treat the four chords as separate shapes — listen to how each chord leads into the next. Pay special attention to the movement G6 → G#dim7 → Am7.

Think of G6 as home.
G#dim7 is a passing chord connecting G6 to Am7.
Listen for the chromatic root movement G → G# → A.
Let D9 create tension that wants to resolve back to G.
Practice the progression as a loop until the turnaround feels natural.
