Beta Terms of Use
Rules for using the Manouke beta.
1. Beta service
Manouke is currently a beta music web application. Features may change, be unavailable, contain bugs or be removed. Availability, perfect synchronization and preservation of unfinished work are not guaranteed. Keep your own copy of material that is important to you.
2. Accounts
Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure and do not intentionally give another person access to your account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use Manouke for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harassing activity.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, probe other users’ private content or deploy malicious code.
- Do not automate access in a way that overloads the service or circumvents limits without permission.
- Do not upload or publish material you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted lyrics, scores, recordings or other protected material where permission or another lawful basis is required.
4. Your content and publication
You keep your rights in content you create. You give Manouke a non-exclusive permission, for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, to host, reproduce, back up and display that content according to the visibility and sharing settings you choose.
When you submit a grille, chord voicing or other material for public publication, that permission includes displaying it in the public Manouke catalogue and using technical copies needed to operate the feature. You can request removal; public or collaborative records may require review rather than instant deletion.
5. Private sharing, teachers and ensembles
Private does not mean visible only to you once you intentionally share content. Teacher/student and ensemble features make selected information and material available to the connected participants. Teachers, leaders and owners are responsible for using these features appropriately and only sharing information they are authorized to share.
6. Automatic music tools
Automatic key detection, harmony analysis, Easy Chords, Easy Harmony, transposition, generated chord shapes, audio realization and similar tools are practice aids. They can be musically or technically wrong. Verify important results yourself before relying on them for teaching, performance, publication or professional work.
7. Sync and device playback
Manouke Sync depends on browsers, devices, audio subsystems, networks and server connectivity. Timing and reconnect behaviour are designed for rehearsal use but cannot be guaranteed to be sample-perfect or uninterrupted.
8. Third-party services
Some features interact with third-party services such as Google reCAPTCHA, YouTube, PayPal, email providers or external CDNs. Their own terms and privacy rules may apply when you use or load those services.
9. Moderation and suspension
Manouke may hide or remove content, revoke publication, limit access or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, respond to rights complaints, prevent abuse or maintain the service. Where practical, we will try to avoid unnecessary loss of legitimate user content.
10. Leaving Manouke
You may request account deletion through the privacy contact channel. Some records may need to be retained, anonymized or separately reviewed where required for security, legal obligations, public publication or collaborative integrity.
11. Warranties and liability
The beta is provided on an experimental, “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Manouke does not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free musical analysis or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Changes
These terms may be updated as the beta changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
13. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without taking away any mandatory consumer protection or jurisdiction rights that apply to you under applicable law.
14. Contact
For account or privacy requests during beta, use the dedicated Privacy / account request form. For general terms questions, the same form can be used with the “Account question” or “Other privacy request” category.
