Joe Young (1889–1939) was an American lyricist and songwriter and a prominent figure of Tin Pan Alley. He frequently collaborated with Sam M. Lewis and wrote lyrics for standards including Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue, Dinah, I’m Sitting on Top of the World and I’m Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter.
