One More Month — The Manouke Beta Continues Through October
September was probably the biggest month for Manouke so far.
Over the past few weeks, I added new Viewer modes, expanded harmony and multi-instrument tools, introduced new Exercises and Learning Paths, and launched the new Rhythm Trainer with multiple practice modes, saved history, achievements and Rhythm Medals.
But the most important part is not just the number of new features.
People are actually using them
During the last 30 days, Manouke reached:
For a project I’m still building and testing, that matters a lot.
Manouke started as something I wanted for my own playing. I’m building it as a musician, for other musicians — so seeing people actually use it for playing, practising and sharing music is probably the most useful kind of feedback I can get.
It also shows me something else: there is still plenty worth improving.
So the beta continues through October
Because of that, I’m extending the Manouke beta through October.
I want one more month to keep testing the newer parts of Manouke with real players, improve the rough edges, and continue connecting the different parts of the system in a way that is actually useful in real musical practice.
And that connection is starting to become real.
The pieces are starting to work together
A rhythm can now be practised separately in Rhythm Trainer and then used inside Learning.
Exercises can explain a musical idea directly inside the music.
Learning Paths can connect several ideas into one progression.
Harmony can be explored while playing instead of only being read as theory.
That is exactly the direction I want Manouke to keep moving in.
Already in development for October
During October, I’m already working on the next pieces of the system:
The goal stays the same: build a system that helps musicians spend less time searching, rewriting and converting music — and more time actually playing it.
If you haven’t really tried Manouke yet, now is a good time
If you’ve only looked at it briefly, October is a good time to jump in.
Try Sync with another device or another musician. Explore the newer tools. And if something feels useful, confusing, broken, promising or surprisingly good — tell me.
That is exactly what this beta period is for.
